Two Ph.D. student positions are available in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Texas Tech University, USA, anticipated to start in January 2020 or later. The candidates will work with Dr. Shu-Xia Tang on research projects in the fields of battery management systems and/or swarm robotic systems, and can concurrently work on (shallow) water management systems, oil drilling systems, traffic management systems, 3D printing systems subject to the candidates’ own interest. More information about the research can be found at (见图一). Scholarship is available to cover both tuition and living expenses.

• Good skills in control and optimization (preferred).
